Study tours provide a great opportunity for students to improve their English Language skills while at the same time having a wonderful tropical escape to Far North Queensland to enjoy the tourism activities that the city has to offer.
Study tours range from one week to three months. All tours are specially designed for the group and take into account their specific needs which include:
- Study tour content
- Type of class (Closed or Integrated)
- Scenic Tours (full day and half day tours)
- Accommodation (Homestay or Student lodge)
- Transport (Bus pass)
- And of course the proposed budget!
Study Tour Content
The classes are custom made to the student’s requirements. Most students have General English, however there is also the option to have General English mixed with the area that the student is presently studying in their home country, or maybe they include cultural experiences like Christmas in Australia or maybe just for fun "Adventure in the Sun!" Examples include:
- Marine studies
- Health studies
- Business studies
- Child care studies
- Engineering studies
- Golf study tour
- Christmas study tour
Study tour (closed class) students remain in their tour group they are all tested on arrival and the class English level is set to meet the majority of the group.
Study tour (integrated students) are tested on arrival and they are placed in the most suitable class according to their English Language learning needs. If they are on a study tour with afternoon activities they will either be out on an activity or they ill be keep in their study tour group to prepare for their next days activity.
